Ladies of Harley
Welcome to Spring Everyone;
Our April 24th meeting found us at the Ice House Pub & Grill. We decided this would be a great place to try out the food for our future Pub Night. It was unanimous, the food was good, the atmosphere fun, and the staff were very friendly. Our Pub Night has been scheduled for September 20th 2008. So please mark this date on your calendar.
Tickets will go on sale at the August Hog Meeting.
Nine wonderful ladies attended this meeting. Discussions ranged from our Christmas Party on December 6th (Some wonderful surprises here) to our Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast which will be held at the Barnes HarleyDavidson/Buell Dealership on May 10th from 9 a.m to Noon.
We'll be serving Pancakes, sausages (beef & pork), bacon (pork & turkey) as well as selling tickets for the Mother's Day Draw. The Ladies of Harley are putting together three wonderful baskets for prizes.
Our LOH Langley Baby Aid Program is up and running. We have done very well with our collection of clothes and baby items. Our next task is to find someone who requires a little help from us. If you have anyone in mind, please, don't hesitate to let us know.
The Ladies of Harley would like to thank everyone that helped out at the bake sale. Our profit was $330.45, which will go a long way in helping a little one.
I would like to personally thank everyone as well as the lovely ladies who did so much work with the chili cookoff, the bake sale, the hamburger & hotdog sale. Without you we couldn't have achieved what we did, and a very special thankyou to The Barnes Team and Greg & Ingrid for all their time and effort in helping our club grow.
Riding Season is here and on May 15th, Barnes will be holding a Tech Night for the Ladies. It will start at 6:30 and last for about an hour. Even if you don't ride your own bike think about attending as it's really a great idea to get to know the machine your a passenger on. You never know where a little knowledge will lead you.
