Shoei's
top-of-the-line full face motorcycle helmet is the X-Eleven. This
helmet represents Shoei's latest efforts safety design, ventilation,
and aerodynamics. The aerodynamic helmet shell was designed with wind
tunnel testing and professional motorcycle racer input. Aero Edge
spoiler reduces drag and lift, help minimize wind-induced rider fatigue
and letting the rider concentrate on the race. Shoei refers to the
X-11's helmet venting as the Hyper Dual-Liner II Ventilation System. It
provides super helmet ventilation via internal channels and exhaust
ports throughout the helmet liner and shell. A forehead lower intake
and a forehead upper air intake provide optimal flow-through
ventilation. The rear spoiler lets warm air out. A lower air intake
provides even more air flow, and the neck outlet vent allows for
effective air exhaust, keeping the helmet wearer comfortable.
The
Shoei X-Eleven's outer helmet shell is made from Shoei's proprietary
lightweight, Advanced Integrated Matrix (AIM+). AIM+ is created by
combing fiber materials with super elastic organic fibers. This yields
a helmet shell that is extremely resilient, rigid, and light. Motorcycle racers and serious street riders require a helmet
that will not fog up the face shield. The Shoei X-Eleven's Anti-fog system forces exhaled air into the 'Breathe Chamber II',
which uses negative air pressure to eliminate helmet shield fogging, and the lower front vent allows fresh air in.
The X-11's entire inner liner (helmert cheek pads, upper liner and chin strap covers)
is easily removed for cleaning. The helmet liner was designed for maximum comfort, fit, and safety. Like all Shoei
motorcycle helmets, the chin strap clip stops the strap from flapping around in the wind. Premium models such as the RF-1000 and X-11 utilize the CX-1 V helmet face shield and lock system.
The Quick release base plate system, first pioneered over a decade ago on the Shoei RF-700 helmet, allows tool-less face shield removal.
All Shoei helmets feature wide, 3 dimension curved shields for better peripheral vision and optical clarity. The face shields also have a scratch resistant coating that doubles as additional ultraviolet light protection.
The Shoei X-11 aka X Eleven helmet meets DOT 218, Snell-M2005 and other safety stadards. It weighs only 3.2 lbs, or 1450 grams. Replacement helmet liner, shield, and locking assembly parts are readily available.

The Shoei RF-1000 full face motorcycle helmet is designed for the street rider looking for quality, function and features. A mainstay of Shoei's helmet lineup dating back to the late 1980's, the RF series has evolved into
one of the premier helmets, at any price point. The RF-1000's shell is dramatically more aerodynamic than the old RF-900, wind tunnel designed and tested for better drag coefficient, to lower the amount of helmet drag, making riding less fatiguing.
The rear Aero Stabilizer helmet spoiler makes a big difference, and has outlets for warm air exhaust. Take a look inside the RF-1000 and you will see Shoei uses a dual layer EPS Liner System, for better ventilation. Intake and exhaust ports abound throughout the helmet. An integrated
upper air intake vent forces fresh air into the helmet in all riding positions. The lower air intake vent lets more air from below. The RF-1000 is made from the same AIM+ technology as the X-11 racing helmet. These materials ensure a helmet shell that is incredibly light, resilient, and rigid.
The lower air vents help keep the face shield fog-free. The inner helmet liner features cheek pads that are removable and available in different sizes to allow custom fit. Removable chin strap cover and cheek pads for changing or cleaning. Chin strap clip secures the helmet strap to prevent it from flapping around in the wind.
The Shoei RF-1000 uses the CX-1V shield system, like the X-Eleven. Note that this shield is different and upgraded compared to the old RF-900 and predecessor shields. Those face shields (CX-1) will not fit this helmet.
The CX-1V system makes tool-less shield removal take seconds. Same scratch-resistant coating, same 3D curved shield for better periperal vision and clarity. The pre-set lever locks the helmet shield down so it can't open when you don't want it to.

The Shoei TZ-R helmet is the most affordable model in Shoei's full face motorcycle lineup for 2006. Don't mistake the TZ-R for a budget helmet, however. There are no compromises to the safety, quality, features, or design of this helmet.
The TZ-R features a shell sculpted in Shoei's wind tunnel, and refined through thousands of hours of road and track testing. The dual layer EPS helmet liner system offers unmatched ventilation with internal channels and exhaust ports throughout the helmet. Integrated top air intake vent minimizes air turbulence and maximizes air stream in all riding positions for constant flow when vent is open.
Lower air intake provides additional air flow, and neck exhaust vent extrudes warm air. The TZ-R's helmet shell is also made of the same lightweight, rigid, and strong AIM+ compound as Shoei models costing twice as much!
The same components that make up the helmet ventilation system also provide superior anti-fogging qualites, as the lower air intake provides air flow that helps to diminish shield fogging.
TZ-R's 3D Interior liner features removable cheek pads, available in optional sizes for custom fit. The Chin strap cover also removes for cleaning.
Chin strap clip secures chin strap to prevent it from moving around. The TZ-R has the the CX-1V Shield and Lock System, meaning that for 2006 ALL Shoei full face helmets have the CX-1V face shield. The Shoei J-Wing is the premium open-face helmet. New for 2006, this helmet represents the state-of-the-art. Open face helmets tend to be very traditional. Not a lot changes year-to-year. The J Wing is the exception. Featuring the same AIM+ shell as
Shoei's full face helmets, the J-Wing has adjustable top and rear exhaust vents, a soft and comfortable shock-absorbent, 3D Removable, washable interior liner, 5 layer cheek pad construction for better fit and durability, an easily removable shield secured by pre-set lever to prevent unexpected opening, and a padded chin strap.
J-Wing's CJ-1 face shield/visor system allows tool-less shield removal and eliminates side covers for a flush, quiet fit. The RJ-Air Platinum is Shoei's traditional open-face helmet. The RJ-Air meets DOT 218, Snell-M2000 standards.

The ST Cruz shell is made from Shoei's AIM compound. This half helmet has adjustable forehead vents to allow flow through ventilation, a plush brushed-nylon interior, sewn-in crown pad for better fit, "Open Road? visor, removable (zip-off) neck curtain, D-ring chin strap with nylon strap-retention band,
