John Zbock Jr. Benefit. On Oct. 14, John
P. Zbock, age 32 and father of three, tragically lost his life in a
motorcycle accident on the Grand Island Bridge. His family and friends
are holding a benefit in honor of his memory and to help the Zbock family
during this time of need. At the Rendezvous Room at the Statler Towers from
6 to 11pm. Tickets are $25.00 per person, includes Food pizza/wings, Drinks
beer and wine. and Live Music. There will be a Chinese auction held at the

Raffle Party. The Louis J. Billittier
Foundation is raffling off a 2009 Harley Street Glide. Tickets are $100.00,
and only 350 will be sold. Come see the bike on display at Chef's
Restaurant! Tickets include entry for two to the annual party, and entry
into a dice run through the southern tier, ending at Chef's Restaurant 291

Motorcycle Blessing The St.
Christopher's Annual Motorcycle Blessing is BACK!! Come join us the first
Saturday of June and be a part of our newest and return version of the St.
Christopher's Motorcycle Blessing. The Event & Registration will start at
9am at the St. Edmund's Campus located at 530 Ellicott Creek Rd 1/2 mile
west of Niagara Falls Blvd. Blessing starts at 10:30/Dice Run follows
immediately after. The after run party starts at 2pm and will feature
several bands to include Gregg Juke and the no-stars, Harvey and the
Hurricanes and headlining is the Willie Haddath Band (formerly Willie and
the Reinharts). Barbeque, Pop, Door Prizes, Raffles and full days events
included in ticket price. Car and bike show. Dash plaques to the first 50
registrants. Several award classes. Presale $17/$20 day of event. All
proceeds to benefit the St. Christopher's Parish Outreach Organization. This
purely volunteer organization provides food and funds to the soup kitchens
and food pantries located right here in Western NY. They also provide
clothing and shelter to the LOCAL poor, underpriveleged and homeless. Event

Motorcycle Run to Benefit the Niagara Falls Firefighters Christmas Toy Fund
is sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe and 97 Rock. Registration begins at 10:00am
until 11:00am at Bergholz Fire Hall 2470 Niagara Road, Wheatfield, NY.
Registration fees are $15.00 per rider and $10.00 per passenger. Free

Bike Run To The Vietnam Wall at Knox Farm State Park.
American Veterans Traveling Tribute! The Greater East Aurora Chamber of
Commerce, in partnership with the East Aurora American Legion Post 362, the
Aurora Vietnam Veterans, and title sponsors Tops Friendly Markets, the Erie
County Veterans Service Agency and Knox Farm State Park, will be bringing
the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) to Knox Farm State Park, 437
Buffalo Road, East Aurora, from June 24 to June 29, 2009. The AVTT travels
the USA each year participating in sponsored events with a mission to honor,
respect and remember those who served and those who are serving. Our
veterans represent freedom and its cost. The focal point of the tribute is
an 80% replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. Other
tributes that are also part of the display include WWII, Korea, Iraq,
Afghanistan and a 9/11 exhibit. The display will be open to the public to
pay their respects 24 hours a day during the six-day period. The kickoff for
the event, Wed. June 24th 11am (registration) at the Tops Market at Transit
& French Rds. in Depew, will begin with a motorcycle run/escort of Vietnam
Veterans and others bringing the AVTT to the Park. The following day, after
the Tribute is erected, there will be several ceremonies scheduled during
the week for various armed forces and emergency service groups to be
honored. The highlight of week will be on Saturday, June 27 when the only
Medal of Honor recipient living in New York State, Gary Beikirch, as well as
other area veterans, will be recognized. To accommodate the thousands of
visitors expected during this time several offsite parking areas have been
designated with shuttle transportation to the Park. |

Ride for Recovery. Gargoyle Park,
Olean. Registration 10am. Bikes out 11am. Rider $20,
passenger $10. The 80-mile ride
will take participants on a scenic tour of Cattaraugus County beginning and
ending at Gargoyle Park in Olean. This alcohol and drug free event is a
fundraiser for the Council on Addiction Recovery Services: a not-for-profit
organization serving Cattaraugus County for 35 years providing outpatient
counseling, prevention services, and residential services for those affected
by alcoholism and substance abuse as well as gambling treatment. There will
be a flea market, a pig roast, children's activities, a health fair, and
live music featuring Buffalo's Party Rock Band, the Strangers, Bird Swamp
Bob and the Four-Point Bucks, and Seasons Change. The ride is $20 for a
driver and $10 for a passenger. If registered before Sept. 1, the fee
includes a T-shirt for each. After that date, T-shirts are on an
availability basis or you will receive a $5 food coupon. Registration forms
